Ruth Langsford revealed she started crying during Strictly Come Dancing rehearsals after having a “meltdown”.
The This Morning presenter managed to bag a place in the third live show but it seems things didn’t go too well in her latest rehearsal with professional dance partner Anton du Beke.
Ruth, 57, and Anton, 51, are set to perform a Rumba routine to Diamonds Are Forever from James Bond in this week’s movie extravaganza.

Ruth uploaded a video telling fans she was feeling “reflective” following her recent rehearsal.
She captioned the post: “OMG….I actually cried at training today with @mrantondubeke Awks!! He was lovely about it of course. Flippin’ Rumba!”
Giving her usual Strictly update Ruth told fans: “I’m at QVC…I’m feeling a bit reflective. I’ve just had my hair done, well it’s not quite finished, as you can see.
“I’m just sitting in my dressing room, on my own.”
“I had a real meltdown at Strictly Come Dancing training with Anton today. Well not meltdown as in anger, I just started crying,” she added.
“It was very embarrassing and unexpected.”
Ruth had a tough first week on the BBC show after falling bottom of the leader board with her Waltz routine after only being rewarded 16 points.
Harsh judge Craig Revel Horwood labelled it a “stumble and grab dance” leaving Ruth emotional.
But last week the Loose Women star seemed to bounce back and managed to up her previous score by four points meaning they ended up slightly higher up with 20 points with their Charleston routine.
And she managed to do better even after suffering an injury just a day before which resulted in her missing valuable rehearsal time.
Ruth spilled all about her injury in a video on her Instagram, telling her followers: “Just before I went down (to the rehearsal studio) I was in my dressing room and I thought, ‘I’ll just walk through my steps and familiarise myself and make sure I know the routine,’ and I kicked my leg out, and I’ve pulled a hamstring.
“So I had to go to the physio, she wouldn’t let me do the rehearsal this afternoon, she’s told me I’ve got to ice it.”

Despite having many fans supporting her through her Strictly journey it seems some This Morning viewers are starting to get annoyed by the amount it’s being spoken about during the lunchtime show.
During the show, which Ruth hosts with hubby Eamonn, the pair often bring up Strictly and have even had Anton pop in a few times.
But viewers have expressed their anger on social media saying they are fed up of hearing about it.
One wrote on Twitter: “Is Ruth on Strictly? …… they’ve not mentioned it.”
Another said: “Ok seriously-we all could of been paralytic drunk by now if we drank a shot every time Ruth/Eamonn mentioned ‘Strictly’ today.”
A third angry viewer said: “Can we STOP talking about Ruth being on Strictly.”
