Rio Ferdinand has taken to Instagram to thank fans for the huge outpouring of support he’s had since his engagement to Kate Wright.
He wrote the message on his Instagram stories.

“Big thanks to everyone for all their messages on our engagement… appreciate it,” he said.
“Feeling the love… now back to work!” he continued.
The couple announced their engagement earlier this week – sharing photos of the moment to Instagram, showing them surrounded by Rio’s three children.

And friends of the couple have claimed that they’re planning to expand their brood soon.
The Sun Online has reported that the pair will start trying for a new baby as soon as they’re married.
“Rio and Kate can’t wait to have a baby,” their source said. “They will want to have one immediately after the wedding. It’s what they have always wanted.”

Kate has had a strong relationship with Rio’s children since the beginning, and according to friends, can’t wait to add to the crew.

Kate announced her engagement to Rio by sharing a shot of the three kids to Instagram Stories – showing them posing with giant balloons spelling out “She said yes.”
She captioned the image “The cutest ever.”
Rio has three kids – 11-year-old Lorenz, 9-year-old Tate, and 6-year-old Tia – from his marriage to Rebecca Ellison, who died of breast cancer in 2015.
The ex-footballer has also revealed his son’s reaction to his new engagement has him feeling all emotional. Aw!
