Former footballer Rio Ferdinand has shared a sweet message for his fiancée Kate Wright to mark her 28th birthday.
The Manchester United legend, 40, posted a string of snaps on Instagram showing the two of them loved up and enjoying their time together.
In the post’s caption, Rio wrote: “Wishing my [love] the happiest birthday. Inside and out, the most beautiful person I could wish to spend the rest of my life [with].”

In one of the pics, Rio can be seen planting a kiss on the former TOWIE star’s cheek as they sit near the sea.
In another, the pair look cosy as they kick back with cocktails and beam at the camera.
Rio’s followers rushed to comment on the post and wish Kate a happy birthday, including a number of his fellow footy stars.
Former player Robbie Keane simply wrote “Happy birthday” alongside a heart emoji, while Chelsea legend Jody Morris commented, “Happy birthday @xkatiewright”.
Rio’s fans also flooded the comments with positive messages.
One said: “Nicely worded. With great respect to your past and your future. You’re a gent, Rio.”
Someone else wrote: “So beautiful, couple goals. Happy Birthday, Kate!”
A third commented: “Aww lovely words and pics @rioferdy5 and what a beautiful lady @xkatiewright is so pleased to see she’s brought you and your children so much happiness after all your heartaches you’ve been through.”
On her own Instagram, Kate updated fans with a pic of herself next to a load of cards and holding a stunning birthday cake.
She wrote: “Birthday girl. Lovely morning with my special little family, so happy.”

Kate joined the TOWIE cast in 2015 and departed in 2017. A year later, she started dating Rio and she’s since become a proud step-mum to his three kids, following their mother’s tragic death from breast cancer in 2015.
Rio proposed to Kate during a family holiday to Abu Dhabi in November last year, popping the question on one knee as they enjoyed the glittering night-time view from the top of the iconic Nation Towers complex.
Posting a pic of the moment on her Instagram, Kate called it the “perfect end” to their holiday and asked “How could the answer not be yes?”
