Earlier this week former TOWIE star Kate Wright revealed she is stepping away from the showbiz limelight to focus on boyfriend Rio and his three children.
Now it’s been reported that the footballer is repaying the favour by planning to take their relationship to the next stage and pop the all-important question.
It seems he’s apparently now ready to commit to the reality star and put a ring on her finger.

An insider told the Daily Star: “We reckon he’s after another ring long-term – an engagement ring for Kate.
“She’s given up everything for him – now it’s time for him to commit to her.”
It comes after Kate, 26, revealed her plans to quit showbiz and focus on family life.
The star told The Sun: “I’m taking a step back from the public eye, I want to keep my life private as I lived my previous relationship on TOWIE, my priority right now is Rio and the family.”
A friend of Kate’s also revealed that Kate desperately wants a “quiet life” away from the spotlight.
The pal also told The Sun: “Kate left TOWIE because she wanted to be away from the limelight.
“But interest continued to be sky high and she struggled to visit the gym and go on holiday in peace.
“She hopes having no links with brands and no longer being on TV will help give her the quiet life she longs for with her new family.”
Blonde beauty Kate is Rio’s first relationship since his wife died two years ago aged 34 after battling breast cancer.
Rio, 38, has three children Lorenz, 11, Tate, nine, and Tia, six.
It was only a couple of months ago that Rio officially went public with Kate on his social media as he shared a snap of them together on holiday.
Kate looked stunning in a bright pink bikini and sarong while the gang relax poolside.
Rio, who highlighted his muscly arms in a grey vest, captioned the shot: “Decent day with the fam ❤️”.
Kate also shared snaps on her social media account of her cuddling Rio’s daughter Tia surrounded by his family.
Back in July Rio tragically lost his mum Janice St Fort to cancer and Kate was by Rio’s side supporting her beau.
After Rio announced the devastating news, Kate took to her Instagram and shared a quote which read: “Always loved, never forgotten, forever missed.”
She captioned the post: “She’s Royal.”
Rio and his family announced the news that Janice had passed in a heartbreaking statement.
“We are heartbroken to announce that our amazing mum Janice passed away today after an ongoing battle with cancer,” it read.
“She was an inspiration to us all and was loved by everyone who knew her. She died at Guy’s Cancer Unit, London Bridge Hospital, with her loving husband Peter and us, her four children, at her bedside.

“She was a devoted mother to us all, and she was the most incredible grandmother to our children.
“The whole family are devastated. Our mum was the centre and the heart of our family and has supported us all through many difficult times, always with a smile on her face.
“Her strength and courage, as well as her great sense of humour and immense kindness, were never-ending.”
They continued: “We would like to thank all the staff at Guy’s Cancer Unit for looking after our mum so well during her illness especially Marta and Joanna as well as everyone who has sent kind wishes to us all during this difficult time.”
