Rio Ferdinand has paid an emotional tribute to fiancee Kate Wright on Mother’s Day.
The former footballer, who proposed to the ex-TOWIE star on holiday in Dubai last year, shared a photo of Kate with his three kids, Lorenz, 12, Tate, 10, and Tia, seven, during one of their sunshine holidays.
“Thank you for all you do for the little munchkins,” he wrote in the sweet post.
“From keeping their mum’s memory alive, to constantly putting smiles on their faces. Love you.”
Katie replied under the upload, which quickly clocked up more than 60,000 ‘likes’, “My special babies. Love you always.”
They lost mum Rebecca to breast cancer in 2015.
Kate quickly became close to Rio’s kids and recently revealed they are desperate for her to get pregnant with a sibling for them.

She told You magazine: “The kids would like a little brother or sister; they say ‘I dreamt that you were pregnant.’ But right now we’re just happy with our little unit.”
She went on: “I fell in love with Rio, then I met the kids and fell in love with them.

“I realised, ‘Wow, my life is going to change.’ I couldn’t be part of his life and not part of theirs.
“I knew it would be a challenge, but if you love someone you go with it and deal with the difficult stuff.”
The couple announced their engagement back in November with a series of sweet photographs of them kissing as the kids watched on.
“The perfect end to our holiday,” Kate gushed. “How could the answer not be yes!”
