They may have only just welcomed their third child, Coco, by surrogate last week – but proud parents Robbie Williams and Ayda Field may be hearing the pitter-patter of tiny feet once more.
The couple, who have been married for eight years, are now discussing whether they would like another baby – and the pair are at loggerheads over having a fourth child.
While former actress Ayda, 39, is hoping to welcome another little one at some point, Angels singer Robbie, 44, is more reluctant over fears of becoming ‘an old dad’.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, he explained, “Ayda’s doing subliminals, I just don’t know. I’m going to give it a few months to see how I feel.
“I know people are having kids a lot older in life, but when Coco’s 30, I’ll be 70.
“I’m 44 and my mum’s still here. She’s in her late seventies and I know how quickly life goes, and I’d like to be around for my kids.”

But Ayda, who also shares daughter Teddy, five, and son Charlie, three, with the former Take That star, believes her powers of persuasion will help her change Robbie’s mind.
“I wouldn’t say no to four,” she said. “I’ve been asking for another one already. You have to ask. After that, the shop would be closed. We’d be in a people carrier and we would be done.
“It’s been a miraculous experience and I’m super-grateful, and if I could convince him for four, then the drinks are on me.”
Even Robbie admits his children are keen to add another sibling into the fold, adding: “Teddy’s asking for another one.”
Ayda and Robbie surprised their fans last week when they unveiled they had taken a “long and difficult” path to welcome their third child via surrogate.

Posting a shot of her family’s hands in a touching Instagram post, Ayda wrote, “We are delighted to share with you that we have had a baby girl…welcome to the world Colette (Coco) Josephine Williams!

“We are over the moon to have this beautiful baby girl in our lives, and so blessed that we live in a world that makes this possible.”
The happy couple will have their hands full, juggling life with their newborn alongside working on the X Factor, after the pair signed a reported £10 million deal to join music mogul Simon Cowell and former One Direction star Louis Tomlinson onto the judging panel.
Speaking about his decision to join the singing competition behemoth, Robbie explained: “Genuinely, it was the Ayda card.
“I’ve thought about doing it often, but I’ve been really busy with my own career, and then Ayda got a call from a producer, asking whether I would do it if she would.
“And instantly, I was like – that makes complete sense. I’m totally in.”
He added: “I have got five albums with Take That and 12 of my own, and now it is time to branch out into something different.”
But while Robbie may be enjoying working with his wife on the singing competition, viewers are divided over the new panel – with some fans saying Robbie’s presence was ‘taking over’ the show.
“Why is Robbie sitting like he owns The X Factor with his feet on the table?” asked one viewer. “I don’t get it.”
