Robbie and Ayda Williams shocked fans in September when they announced the birth of their third child via surrogate.
But it seems these two didn’t just keep it from the public – but their own mums, Gwen and Janet, too!
Speaking to The Sun, Angels singer Robbie admitted: “My mum didn’t know, [Ayda’s] mum didn’t know. No one.”
The new X Factor co-judges – who are also parents to Teddy and Charlie – kept baby Colette Josephine Williams – AKA Coco – a secret from everyone, as they filmed auditions for the talent show.
Ayda, 39, explained: “The timing has been both perfect and horrendous. Coco was due in September and had the X Factor timings clashed, we’d have said no to the show. I was not going to miss the birth of my child.
“It was so weird because I had this whole other life outside which no one knew about, not even Simon Cowell.”

It was on 7 September that Ayda broke the news of their new Williams addition.

Beside a cute black and white shot of their hands, she wrote: “I spy with my little eye an extra little hand 👀.
“So we have been keeping a very special secret! We are delighted to share with you that we have had a baby girl….welcome to the world Colette (Coco) Josephine Williams!! 💕💕 It has been a very long and difficult path to get here, which is why we have kept it on the down low.
“Family comes in all forms, and this little lady, who is biologically ours, was carried by an incredible surrogate mother, to whom we will be eternally grateful. We are over the moon to have this beautiful baby girl in our lives and so blessed that we live in a world which makes this possible.
“As with Teddy and Charlie, we ask that you respect Coco’s privacy and allow us to grow into our new team of 5! #TeamWilliams”.
Robbie, 44, later confirmed Coco is “the most chilled baby I’ve ever known” and said Teddy and Charlie were getting on well with their new baby sister.
