The post also plays a clip from the Journey song Don’t Stop Believin’.
She captioned the post: “@robbiewilliams 8 years ago today we got married.
“Thank you for taking the midnight train to anywhere with me. It’s been the journey of a lifetime.
“Happy Anniversary! I love you!!”
She added the hashtags “#happyanniversary #soulmate #ryda” before signing off “AWxx.”
Fans rushed to congraulate the couple and gush over the stunning photo.
One person said: “An amazing strong couple wishing you both a Happy Anniversary.”
Another wrote: “How has that been 8 years?!” while a third commented: “Happy Anniversary to such a fun-loving, meant-for-each-other couple!!”
Ayda and Robbie have two children together – daughter Theodora, five, and son Charlton, three.
The couple tied the knot at Robbie’s Los Angeles home in 2010 and their wedding was definitely full of surprises.
According to Hello! magazine, Robbie and Ayda substituted the traditional bridesmaids for their eight dogs.
Meanwhile, their 60 guests were told they were going to a James Bond-themed party until moments before the ceremony began.
At the time, Robbie gushed over Ayda telling the mag: “Ayda looked like the most beautiful girl in the world.
“The setting was so magical, and to be surrounded by family and close friends and then see Ayda appear looking so radiant was almost too much for me to take… I’m the happiest man alive.”

It was recently announced that the couple will be new judges on the X Factor alongside One Direction star Louis Tomlinson and Simon Cowell, when the series returns to ITV later this year.
Speaking about his new gig, Robbie said he’s “looking forward” to getting started as a judge on the show.
Ayda, meanwhile, said she believes she’ll make a good judge because she knows what it takes to “help people achieve their dreams”.
