Robbie Williams has recounted his beautiful proposal to wife Ayda in honour of Romance Awareness Month.
The popstar and X Factor judge took to Instagram to recall how he popped the question to actress Ayda using a pack of cards.

He told fans: “Every time I used to think of Ayda and pull a card from a deck it would always be a queen, so I took her to the place that I first laid my eyes on her and gave her four queens.
“Each card said one word each. Will… You… Marry… Me?”
He added the hashtag for Romance Awareness Month.
Robbie’s told the lovely story in the past but that didn’t stop fans gushing about just what an ol’ romantic he is!
One wrote: “So happy you found your queen ❤❤❤ you were made for each other.”
Another said: “You are so sweet and romantic with you wife !!! Adorable.”
A third added: “Good to hear romance isn’t dead!”
Robbie, 44, first opened up about the inspiration for his romantic proposal in an interview with Hello! Magazine back in 2010, saying: “When we first started going out, this weird thing would happen.
“When I had a deck of cards, I would split the pack and always come up with a Queen of Hearts.”
He added: “Because I’m into mysticism, it filled my heart and made me stop worrying about whether I was with the right person.”
The couple celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary on August 7.
Ayda, 39, marked the occasion by writing on Instagram: “8 years ago today we got married. Thank you for taking the midnight train to anywhere with me. It’s been the journey of a lifetime. Happy Anniversary! I love you!”
The couple have two children: daughter Teddy, five, and son Charlton, two.
They’re currently combining their private and professional lives after signing up to judge together on the new series of X Factor, marking the first time a husband and wife team has been on the panel.
Auditions are currently being filmed around the country with the show returning to ITV this autumn.

Robbie and Ayda will judge alongside X Factor boss Simon Cowell and One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson, after a full shake-up of the panel.
Former judge Sharon Osbourne will join the panel for the live shows, providing a neutral voice, as each of the main judges will naturally be rooting for the contestants in their yet-to-be-assigned categories.
