Rochelle Humes has banned her mum from talking about diets when her two daughters are around.
The This Morning presenter, who is mum to Alaia-Mai, five, and two year old Valentina Raine, has revealed she doesn’t allow anyone to speak about dieting in front of her children as she wants them to grow up with confidence about how they look and not thinking negatively about food.

The 30-year-old revealed that the ban even extends to her mum. Rochelle told The Mirror: “She was like, ‘Oh I need to go on a diet before your birthday’. That’s fine to say to me, but I don’t like that around my girls.”
The ex-Saturdays singer said when she wants to talk to her daughters about healthy eating she talks about looking after their teeth instead.
She said: “I’ll be like, ‘Right, we need to eat this because we need to look after our teeth.'”

Rochelle, who is married to former JLS star Marvin, is set to host a new series of Ninja Warrior UK and says the programme inspires her children to keep fit
“My eldest loves it and so do all her friends,” she said.
“They play it in the playground and I’m so proud that we’re inspiring fitness in children, particularly girls.
“I’m like, ‘Wow, that’s a strong woman right in the thick of all the men’. A positive role model using their body to the best they can.”
She adds: “I’ve seen a brilliant hashtag called ‘strong not skinny’, I totally love that.”

Rochelle also insists that having children has made her more mindful about her own health. “I’ve got two kids so it’s more of a reason to reflect that onto them,” she said.
“I’m a fan of everything in moderation – I’m a bit naughty every now and again.”
