We absolutely love Ronan and Storm Keating, and admit to having serious lifestyle goals when we look at Storm’s gorgeous Instagram account.
However, this week one of Storm’s posts was taken the wrong way by a fan, leading the fashion designer and blogger to hit back.
The blonde beauty had posted a picture of her adorable son, Cooper, as the family was preparing for a flight.
The 18-month-old tot was seen to be fiddling with his seatbelt, which led one commenter to write: “Poor [bleep].”
However, Storm wasn’t having any of it – tapping out a mini-essay just moments later.
She wrote: “”We think lucky [bleep]! We could easily employ nannies or staff to look after our little man while mummy & daddy have to work, but despite it taking more effort and organisation, we choose to take him almost everywhere with us.
“We stick together as a family as much as possible (which is a very privileged position to be in – not all families have that luxury!)

“Of course it’s not the easy option for @rokeating and I, but we’ll do whatever it takes for our little guy – we don’t want to miss a thing and we don’t want him to miss either of us also.
“Not if we can help it. For Cooper to have two parents who are so hands on despite their crazy lifestyle and work schedules is a blessing and it shows in Cooper.”
The former TV producer went on: “He is the happiest little baba who very rarely even cries (!) and who has been sleeping through the night since he was 7 weeks old (12hrs a night since he was 4.5 months old!).
“He can go anywhere, sleep anywhere and his routine is flexible. He is so loved by so many (not to mention his big brother and sisters who live a plane flight away and would never get to see if he didn’t travel) and he is so content… I think that says it all really.”
She then went on to talk about what a fantastic father Ronan is, and how proud she was of her whole family.
Well said Storm! It’s never easy to raise a baby, and no two people do it exactly alike – so it’s great to see some conversations about it taking place.

Storm’s note started a debate below the picture about the realities of travelling with young children, with many commenting in praise of Storm.
One said: “Perfect reply. Not that you should have to defend yourself. We are currently on honeymoon with our two year old daughter and so many people asked if we were leaving her at home. Absolutely no way!”
However, if you ever do need a babysitter Storm, just give us a call. Our rates are very reasonable.
