Ruth Langsford has shared her pride as husband Eamonn Holmes prepares to receive his OBE at Buckingham Palace.
The television presenters both posted the same image to Instagram on Friday morning showing them dressed to impress ahead of the ceremony.
Eamonn, 58, is being honoured in recognition of his services to broadcasting, and asked fans to wish him luck on the big day.

Thrilled wife Ruth, 58, told fans: “Off to the Palace! SO proud of my husband @eamonnholmes who will receive his OBE for services to broadcasting today…. nobody deserves it more ❤.”
She added the hashtag, “proud wife”.

Ruth wore a pale blue dress and matching fascinator for the occasion, teamed with cream heels.
Eamonn, meanwhile, was dapper in a morning suit with pale blue waistcoat and dark blue tie.

Eamonn simply told fans: “Wish me luck. Off to The Palace.”
Well, fans certainly did send him luck in droves, with more than 500 leaving supportive messages in just an hour.
One said: “Sooo exciting for you both. Well deserved! one of our national treasures and Ireland of course….a proud day for your mum.”

Another told him: “Fabulous, so well deserved.”
A third added: “Awe you both look fantastic!! You deserve more for the way you brightens everyone’s life up and how you represent our wee country over here… Should be a Knighthood in my book!”
Others complimented Eamonn and Ruth on looking so smart, with one saying: “Looking so handsome Eamonn, Ruth stunning in pale blue, congrats and have a fabulous day!”
Another said: “Oh my god. Both of you look like royalty. Beautiful.”
Eamonn’s OBE was awarded in the New Year’s Honours list, with the Northern Irish-born presenter saying: “It’s like getting a gold star for your homework – 2018 will be my 38th year as a broadcaster and I can’t think of a better way of marking that.”
Eamonn is perhaps best known for his roles on daytime programmes, including GMTV and Sky News’ Sunrise, as well as ITV’s This Morning.
His other credits include Channel 5 programme How The Other Half Lives, which he also presented with alongside Ruth, and a presenting role on the BBC’s Songs Of Praise.
He also has his own talkRADIO show and voices a CBeebies programme called Biggleton.
Many of Eamonn’s famous friends and colleagues have also congratulated him on the accolade.
Among them was TV ‘son’ Rylan Clark-Neal, who said: “I am SO PROUD of Eamonn Holmes. You deserve this so much. My tele dad.. Eamonn Holmes OBE.”
Others who sent congratulatory messages included Piers Morgan and Matt Johnson.
