Ryan Thomas has dropped a major hint he’s ready to marry girlfriend Lucy Mecklenburgh after declaring: “We’ll have a massive wedding!”
The former Coronation Street star, who is currently in the Celebrity Big Brother house, suggested an engagement could be imminent in a new interview with OK! Magazine.
Ryan, 34, announced: “We’ll have a massive wedding. It would be huge and one big party. It would be bigger than my brother Adam’s!”
His ex-Emmerdale star brother Adam, who has also appeared in I’m A Celebrity, married wife Caroline last year.

The interview marked Ryan and ex-TOWIE star Lucy’s first photoshoot together, as they’ve always preferred to keep their relationship away from the limelight.
But things are definitely getting serious with talk of marriage and, of course, the fact Lucy, 26, has met Ryan’s nine-year-old daughter Scarlett.
He told the mag: “I’m a softie and I wouldn’t have her around my daughter unless I knew she was going to be around for a very long time. I said the love word straight away. It gets used very frequently in my life – I’ll tell my mates I love them daily. Lucy isn’t as open as I am.”
Ryan admitted to the mag he’d chased Lucy for “about three years” after seeing her on the cover of FHM Magazine, but it was only when they starred together on last year’s Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls that romance blossomed.
Obviously, surviving the island was a big test for the pair and now they’re facing another with Ryan locked up in the CBB house for possibly weeks on end, depending on how far he gets.
Ryan said he’ll miss Lucy, especially as they’ve been spending so much time together recently and have just got back from holiday.
He said: “I think it will hit me harder than normal. But these things are good for relationships because it makes you enjoy seeing each other again. Having time apart makes the relationship better and stronger.
“I’m looking forward to seeing her when I get out.”

Lucy, meanwhile, has been cheering Ryan on from home, telling social media followers she’s been tuning in to watch him.
When Ryan arrived, she told fans: “My babe. Wanna give him a cuddle. So glad I made it back in time to watch.”
Lucy also posted a throwback photo of herself and Ryan on holiday to Greece, adding the caption: “Already smashing it.”
