Channel 5 soap Neighbours has announced it will screen a special late night edition next month which will see the arrival of our very own Ryan Thomas in Ramsay Street.
Ry’s best known to us for playing cheeky builder Jason Grimshaw in Coronation Street, but his character in Neighbours – Rafael Humphrey – is a whole lot darker.

He’s an English tourist who arrives in Ramsay Street looking for revenge! Intriguing huh?
But it looks like his revenge plan might be put on hold when he starts to fall for a Ramsay Street regular – who’s the lucky lady then?
The special episode, called Hit and Run, will air in the 10pm slot meaning that the tea-time soap will be able to explore some much darker things – think Hollyoaks Later with Aussie accents.
It will also see the return of notorious Neighbours villain, Izzy Hoyland, who’s back to target her old flame Karl Kennedy and will clash with her nemesis, Susan Kennedy.
Some of the longer running storylines will come to a head in the hour-long episode.
With Tyler’s trial for murdering Hamish coming up, Piper comes up with a desperate plan to keep the two of them together.
Apparently, it is real edge-of-your-seat stuff which could well prove FATAL for one of the young lovers.
Elsewhere Paige, conflicted by her feelings for Mark Brennan and the father of her child, takes action that will have heartbreaking consequences.
There will be some other familiar faces arriving too – such as Blair McDonough (Stu Parker), Andrew Biddy (Lance Wilkinson), Anthony Engleman (Stonie Rebecchi as Toadie belatedly celebrates his 21st birthday.

The special was even directed by former cast member Scott Major, who played Lucas Fitzgerald.
Natalie Bassingthwaighte, who plays scheming Izzy, said: ‘Viewers can be assured Izzy is back with a vengeance creating chaos. If you loved to hate her before, you will love to hate her even more!’
