Former Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding has pulled out of her role in Ghost The Musical.
The 34-year-old has attributed it to a mystery illness as doctors investigate a respiratory infection.
Sarah had a short-lived spell on ITV soap Coronation Street, for which she was slated by viewers for her acting.
There are some that believe the reason that she has called time on the theatre is once again to poor reviews.
This is her first time treading the boards but it seems that those that went to see a performance at London’s New Wimbledon Theatre were not overly enamoured with what they witnessed.

A spokesperson for Sarah said: “Sarah went to see the doctor today who diagnosed an upper respiratory tract infection.
“She’s been really pushing herself over the past three weeks, rehearsing solidly for the show and making sure her performance is perfect.”
The spokesperson continued: “Fans of Sarah will know that she is a true grafter and that she always pushes herself to the absolute limit, but it’s all caught up with her.
She still has three months of nightly performances to get through, and she’s dead set on giving it her absolute all.”
Sarah is taking on the role of Molly, that was made famous by Demi Moore in the 1990 movie.
Hollyoaks actor Andy Moss is taking on Patrick Swayze’s Sam, the murdered lover.
Speaking about the role, Sarah had admitted some embarrassment with the romantic scenes.
Then there is also THAT pottery moment, that is the scene that will always spring to mind when you think of Ghost.

She said: “The other day I had to start to do the odd kiss, and I start blushing!
“It’s not something I’m used to, I’ve never really done on screen snogging.”
Sarah coninued: “Andy is lovely. The more familiar we get the more comfortable it becomes.
“At the end of the day it’s just a job, he’s done it a million times.
“I’m the one who is blushing!”
