She’s been away from Hollyoaks for six years (!) but we’re about to see the return of legend, Mandy Richardson AKA Sarah Jayne Dunn.

Sarah confirmed her return back in June, alongside fellow ‘Oaks alumni, Gary Lucy – Luke Morgan.
Gorgeous Sarah, who first appeared in Hollyoaks back in 1996, chatted about her comeback on This Morning and revealed some juicy details about her comeback.
The first shocker she revealed is that Mandy is back with her first Hollyoaks love, Luke Morgan, although she didn’t realise Gary was coming back too until she saw the scripts.
Sarah told Ruth and Eamonn: “I actually didn’t know to begin with. I got one of my first scripts and it was Mandy and Luke. So yeah the two of us back together.”
But while the teenage sweethearts are back together, Sarah revealed they are very far removed from the couple they were last time around.
She said: “They are back together, I can tell you that.
“They are a couple. Mandy and Luke return together and obviously six years is a long time and Luke’s been gone for 15 years so there’s a lot.”
Sarah went on to talk about what her character has been up to in the six years since we last saw her on screen.
She said: “Mandy’s fallen on harder times, and she’s going through a bit of a tough time.
“She’s got a lot of connections in the village and she will need them.”
It’s been revealed that Luke is struggling with alcoholism and Mandy is doing her best to stand by him.
Sarah revealed that the struggle has taken its toll on Mandy’s style sense.
She laughed: “”I’m wearing trainers in some scenes and Mandy always wears heels!”

Mandy and Luke were originally a couple over 15 years ago. Their relationship broke down after Luke was the victim of a brutal rape.
Mandy has flitted in and out of Hollyoaks over the years. She was last seen in the village in 2011 when she left after her affair with Warren Fox went sour.
As well as Warren, Mandy has history with Tony Hutchinson. The pair were married and even had a daughter, Grace, who died from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
We can only imagine how shook Tony and Warren will be by Mandy arriving back in Hollyoaks.
