It looks like Hollyoaks actress, Sarah Jayne Dunn just had the best weekend ever, as she celebrated her hen do ahead of her wedding to personal trainer, Jonathan Smith.
The star, who’s played Mandy Richards on the Channel 4 soap opera for an immense 22 years, celebrated in style, with a large group of girls, that included a few familiar faces.
The 36-year-old was in Leeds for a bottomless prosecco dinner, and was joined by her former co-stars, Ali Bastian and Jodi Albert. Both actresses starred in Hollyoaks with Sarah Jayne back in the noughties.
Wearing a classic hen outfit, Sarah Jayne looked the part in a mini dress, thigh high boots, and the obligatory veil, as she posed for photos with her friends.
Next to a photo she posted to Instagram on Monday, the actress wrote: “This weekend was my hen do. I’m still curled into a ball of suffering shame. However it was totally worth it and I couldn’t have asked for a better group of girls to share it with.
“I must’ve done something right in life to have such an amazing group of women beside me, lifting me up when I’m down, having my back at all times and drinking multiple shots with me to the point of to say the very least!!!

“If you’ve got good friends beside you you’ll never be alone. Thanks ladies for going above and beyond and for making my hen unforgettable and for always being there. You rock my world.”
The sentimental feeling carried across Ali’s Instagram page too, where she wrote: “So this weekend we got the band back together for our beautiful friend @sarahjaynedunn’s hen do. These women have my heart. What an absolute joy. Xxxxxxx @jodialbert #lastwomenstanding #standard”.
The Sun Online reports that it was an early hen for Sarah Jayne, as she’s not marrying her personal trainer fiancé for a few months yet.
Their source claims: “She’s not getting married until the summer, but one of her mates is pregnant so wanted to enjoy the night before her baby arrived.”
Last year the mum-of-one revealed her wedding plans in an interview, saying: “We’re getting married next year, but we don’t want to say when yet.
“We’ve been very organised so we have most of the big things sorted, now we need to sort the smaller details.
“I said right at the start that I wanted to enjoy the planning process, I don’t want to become a bridezilla.”
We got a glimpse of how Sarah Jayne might look on her big day, when she posted a picture of herself in character as Mandy last month, on her wedding day to Luke.
