“I’ve just started doing some acting courses which is really fun,” she said.
“I’d like to do some more documentaries and maybe some soaps too – there’s plans in the works and I’m just getting going with it.
“I like that I’m in the position at the minute where I can try new things.”
She said that along with a role in a soap, she’d love to be on the judging panel of a talent show – saying she’d be a “Cheryl” of any panel she was on.
“I’d probably do a lot of crying and it would be so hard to say no to people.”
A stint on tv would be something of a return to the past for Frankie, who appeared in the BBC’s short lived musical drama series, I Dream.
The show followed a group of students who spend a summer at a prestigious performing arts school.
She’s also made television appearances as part of the Saturdays – appearing on Hollyoaks Later in 2008, and Myths in 2009.
As well as eyeing up TV roles, Frankie claimed that there was always the chance of a musical reunion.
“The option is always there for The Saturdays to come back, you just never know,” she said.
