Saturdays star Una Healy has thanked hospital staff for treating her eldest child following a “freak accident”.
The Irish singer, 36, has two kids with rugby player Ben Foden, and her five-year-old daughter Aoife chipped a bone yesterday (ouch) that required her to have surgery.
Following the incident, Una shared an emotional Instagram post thanking doctors for coming to the rescue.
The singer posted a picture of Aoife in her hospital bed, wearing a sling and plaster casts.

Alongside it, she wrote: “Our brave little trooper Aoife Belle. She suffered an unfortunate freak accident where she tripped and chipped a bone in her elbow that ended up requiring surgery.
“Thank you so much to all the fantastic care staff at Northampton General Hospital and Children’s A&E. We greatly appreciate your kindness and care. Thank you #NHS.”
And fans of the star were soon showering her with sympathetic comments.
One soothed: “Ah the poor pet. Hope she’s feeling ok soon x.”
Another added: “Oh my gosh… the poor little thing! Sending positive vibes your way.”
And a third follower chipped in: “Poor little mite – nothing worse than watching ur child suffer and not being able to take it away. Feel better soon.”
Una and Ben, who tied the knot in 2012, also have a little boy called Tadhg.
And judging by an interview the singer gave in 2016, two is the magic number when it comes to the Healy/Foden brood.

She told the Irish Independent: “I’m done now. I really don’t want any more. If I see a baby, I’m like: ‘No, definitely not.’
“It’s tough and really hard work. I’m just so happy with two. I don’t want to say if another one came along that it would be an accident. It would obviously be a blessing.
“If it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be. But if I could plan it right now, then no more babies.”
We hope Aoife makes a speedy recovery!
