Piers Morgan was left red – or rather orange – faced this morning thanks to a make-up blunder on GMB.
He compared himself to President Donald Trump because fake tan had been over-zealously applied to his face.
But the excessive cosmetics only became obvious because of another oversight – the fact his hands hadn’t been similarly tanned.
A viewer called Judy tweeted the show to say she’d spotted how odd Piers’ face looked in comparison to his hands thanks to their vastly different shades.
“@GMB what is up with @piersmorgan hands… why are they so white compared to his face,” she asked, sharing a screen grab of the host’s ghostly white hand up against his orange cheek.
Piers retweeted her message with the caption: “That. Is. Weird.”

He then brought the matter up on air, jokingly blasting the make-up department for making him look foolish.
He said: “This is the problem when the makeup department – who are otherwise a very talented group of people – simply forget part of your body. They paint your head bronze and forget about your hands. Then you end up looking like this, which is just weird.
“I would like an emergency visit from the makeup department to come and do my hands.”
He added: “I need them to just do their job and realise my right hand is white. I mean you’ve humiliated me in front of the world.
“You’ve given me a Donald Trump head and a very white hand. I’ve been publicly humiliated!”
Piers co-presenters Susanna Reid and Charlotte Hawkins found the whole thing hilarious.
“More make-up for Morgan!” Susanna cried.
Catherine, a member of the make-up department, then entered the studio to do the former newspaper editor’s bidding.
She confessed to Piers, 52, that she’d made his make-up look silly in contrast to his pale hands on purpose, as she’s a Tottenham football club fab – and Piers famously supports rival London club Arsenal.
Piers replied: “She wanted to expose me to more ridicule and humiliation.”
“Take it away!” he then said dismissing her with her make-up brush and bronzer.
But before she left, he told Catherine that he hopes Tottenham lose their next match, causing Susanna to tell him off for being “rude”.

Surely Piers doesn’t want to get on the wrong side of the make-up department! Who knows what he’ll look like for the next show if they want revenge!
