Peter Andre may have been a little bit too loose-lipped last week!
The popstar-turned-television presenter used his New! magazine column to say sorry to poor old wife Emily after joking in a magazine interview that she didn’t want him near her in bed.
He made the quip when asked if the couple would have any more kids, joking Emily doesn’t let him near her at night as she’s quite content with having just the two.
But writing under the headline, “Sorry Ems”, Pete said: “I was clearly joking! Poor Emily – she was like, ‘Why would you say I don’t go near you?’ So for Ems, I want to set the record straight.”

Meanwhile, in a separate interview with OK! mag, Emily added: “I hope people know Pete was joking when he said that!
“We have a lovely relationship and I’d actually say we’re close than ever.”
Pete also admitted in his New! mag column that Emily wasn’t too impressed with him last week after he failed to make a big fuss over her new hairdo.
“So Emily got her hair done last week, then got mad at me because I didn’t notice – oops!” he said.
“I could tell she’d gone a bit blonder, but I didn’t go, ‘Oh, what a difference!’ because there’s not that much of a difference!
“But it doesn’t mean I don’t think it looks nice, because it does.”
Peter and Emily married in 2015 and have two children: Amelia, four, and one-year-old Theo.
He’s also dad to son Junior, 12, and daughter Princess, ten, from his marriage to ex-wife Katie Price.
Emily recently returned to work as a hospital doctor following maternity leave, while Pete is busy working on the new series of 60 Minute Makeover and preparing to jet to LA to star in his first feature film and work on his new album.
So it’s a busy time in the Andre household!
Perhaps that’s why Peter said recently Emily isn’t too keen to have another baby just yet.
Speaking to the Mirror Online recently, Peter revealed: “All of a sudden I said I wanted another baby. It’s weird as I always said I don’t want to be changing nappies at 50, like Simon Cowell.
“[Emily’s] quite content not to have one and is full on back at work.”
Meanwhile, appearing on ITV’s Lorraine last week, Emily was quizzed on whether she’d change her mind and have another child.
“Maybe!” answered Emily, before Lorraine pointed out Peter would ideally have a whole football team if he could.

“He would!” laughed Emily. “But he changes his mind! I remember him saying, ‘No, no, no, no more children’ and I think now Theo is sleeping a little bit more, he’s saying, ‘Oh, maybe we will…'”
But while Emily said “maybe” to the idea of more kids, it doesn’t seem likely to happen anytime soon.
“I’m very much focused on my career and getting back to that,” she said.
