Scarlett Moffatt hopes to find love for herself on new show

The star will front a dating show later this year

I’m A Celebrity Winner Scarlett Moffatt is set to host the brand new series of Streetmate.

Streetmate is a dating show that will see love-seekers hit the streets of their hometown in the hope of getting a date with attractive passers-by.

But the former Gogglebox star has revealed she has dreams of finding love herself while filming for the show.

Speaking to her 543K Twitter followers the star wrote: “I’m hoping when I present streetmate I can find a date for myself  forgot what it’s like to interact with the opposite sex [sic].”

The star recently split from her boyfriend Luke Crodden after a year-long romance.

A friend of the couple said: “Scarlett is sad about her break up with Luke but she really hopes they can remain friends.

“At the moment she needs to concentrate on her career. After all, she’s got plenty of time to settle down in the future.”

But after announcing she was ready to look for love again the Geordie lass definitely wasn’t short of offers with one being from Emmerdale star Adam Thomas.

He joked about leaving his girlfriend Caroline Daly for her saying: “Say the word and I’ll leave Caz for you.”

To which Scarlett, 26, replied: “@adamthomas21 don’t say that I’ve already bought a dress for yours and cazs wedding – non refundable.”

Speaking about landing the presenting gig Scarlett told Christine Lampard on Lorraine back in March: “It is coming back. I’m so excited. I still remember watching it.

“I remember both Davina [McCall] and Holly [Willoughby] doing it and they are both people I aspire to be like.

“I can’t wait. I love talking to random people, it’s one of my favourite things to do.”

“To bring people together to meet face to face, that’s exciting,” she added.

The show is set to return to Channel 4 later this year and Scarlett has teased that it will be “a dating show with a twist”.
