As Ant McPartlin heads back to the jungle for an all new series for I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! he’s looking to his colleagues for support – and is said to be forming a close friendship with Scarlett Moffat.
Ant spent two months in rehab ahead of the new series, dealing with an addiction to prescription medication brought on by painful knee surgery.
Along with the support of his long-time friend and presenting partner Dec Donnelly, Ant’s said to have turned to Scarlett.
Scarlett’s in Australia to host companion show I’m a Celebrity: Extra Camp, alongside Joe Swash and Joel Dommett.

Ant and Dec have both become friends with Scarlett, and are committed to helping her with her burgeoning career, and now it looks like she’s returning the favour, and helping Ant deal with his addiction.
Scarlett – who won the last season of I’m a Celebrity – is said to have received a phone call from Ant as soon as he left the rehab facility.
A source told The Mirror that the pair have been talking non-stop, with Ant also providing support as Scarlett recovers from a break up with Luke Crodden.
“Ant called Scarlett as soon as he was out of rehab to catch up,” the source said.
“He, along with Dec, really want to support her career and think she’ll be a big star. They have been talking non-stop. They’ve struck up a great friendship.”
Scarlett has been open about how grateful she is for the support of Ant and Dec, telling the Daily Star the pair were like father figures, and have been giving her great advice for the show.
“They just said, ‘be you,’ which coming from them, when they are my absolute heroes, gives me the confidence to just be me,” she said. “If they have faith in me, I must be doing something half decent.”
She confessed to being ambitious, saying she hoped her role on Extra Camp would led to bigger things.
“I would love having my own chat show,” she said. “I am nosey and if you say everything with a smile then people tell you more information.”

Ant’s commitment to I’m a Celebrity means he has to spend even more time away from his wife Lisa, who is currently working on Strictly Come Dancing, where she is head of the hair and make up department.
The pair have been living in separate homes while they work on their marriage, which has been hounded by reports it’s been suffering under the strain of Ant’s addiction.
Lisa took to twitter to respond to rumours that their relationship was over, stating she is “not estranged.”
The new season of I’m a Celebrity starts tonight.
