Scarlett Moffatt is living the dream tonight, attending the prestigious National Television Awards for the first time ever.
Well, when we say attending, we mean co-hosting with showbiz stalwart Dermot O’Leary no less.
It’s a showbiz pairing perhaps nobody would have predicted this time last year, when Scarlett was the lovable but very contained star of Channel 4’s Friday night favourite Gogglebox.
All of that changed of course, when the chirpy lass signed up to last year’s I’m A Celebrity… and went on to be crowned Queen.
Since then, her celebrity currency has gone through the roof, with TV bosses desperate to sign her up.
The 26-year-old has recently been announced as presenter of the soon-to-be-revived dating show Streetmates for Channel 4.
She’ll also be reunited with Ant and Dec as a guest presenter on Saturday Night Takeaway.
Scarlett said at the time: “I’ve watched Saturday Night Takeaway with my family for as long as I can remember I’m such a huge fan, so to be part of one of the biggest entertainment shows out there, with two of my all time TV heroes Ant and Dec, is an absolute dream.
“I don’t really know what I’m doing yet, I’ll do whatever!”
Talking earlier this month about her role on the NTAs, she revealed:
“I’ve never been to an awards ceremony before.
“I can’t believe the first one I’m attending is as part of the actual NTA team working alongside Dermot O’Leary, the master of live TV.
“I can’t believe it; it’s going to be such an amazing experience.
“To top it off my dad gets to be my plus one and walk me down my first ever red carpet! “What more can a girl ask for?!”
Of course, such a momentous occasion couldn’t pass without a hiccup and it seems Scarlett suffered some outfit anxiety ahead of tonight’s appearance.
Which woman hasn’t, before a big night out?
Yesterday it looked from her excited tweet that she had had everything locked down – even her tan.
But a couple of hours later she tweeted:
We can totally sympathise with those eleventh hour doubts. And nerves!
And while we don’t know what her planned outfit was, we’re pretty sure no one will deny she looks sensational in what she’s wearing tonight!
She looked pretty as a picture in her pink two-piece.
