The EastEnders Christmas episode has become as much a part of the big day as turkey and presents.
But this year’s episode is scheduled to clash with the glittering festive edition of Victoria – leaving fans in a muddle over which of their favourite shows to watch.
EastEnders airs at 9pm on BBC1 Christmas Day, while Victoria will be on ITV at the same time.
The festive episode of EastEnders is always a huge one, and this year’s trailed as being “the most explosive Yuletide in Albert Square history” which frankly is a bold claim given the exciting Christmases we’ve seen in Walford in the past.
Viewers will see the Carters trying everything they can to save the Queen Vic from being taken over by horrible Willmott-Brown.

And Mick – aka Danny Dyer – will get a chance to save the pub and keep a roof over his family’s heads for Christmas.
But Mick’s opportunity could have deadly consequences and with murder on his mind, things soon spiral out of control changing the Carters’ lives forever.

And the shock of Max Branning’s betrayal is still making waves around the Square.
Meanwhile Victoria fans can get a glimpse of what Christmas was like for the monarch in 1846.
There’s lots of action in store including the queen being pregnant with her fourth child, and a forbidden romance between two members of the royal staff.
Prince Albert tries to impress his wife by transforming the palace into a winter wonderland, but tensions rise when he invites some unwelcome guests for dinner.
Victoria is on for two whole hours, meaning it also clashes with another fan favourite Mrs Brown’s Boys, which is on at 10pm.
Other top telly choices this Christmas include special episodes of Call The Midwife and Strictly Come Dancing, as well as the festive Doctor Who.
Thank goodness for catch up, right?
