One thing you could never accuse Kerry Katona of is leading a boring life.
Earlier this week, the Scouse star posted a message to Instagram saying that she was “gutted” to have left Atomic Kitten, leading some to speculate that she’d been booted out of the band.
But just three days later, she’s returned to social media to share some exciting career news with her fans.
The mum-of-five, 37, confirmed reports that she’s set to appear in reality series The Real Housewives of Cheshire.
Last week, it was reported that bosses of the ITVBe show were eager to sign Kerry up and planned to move her into returning cast member Ampika Pickston’s mansion.
Well, judging by an exuberant post on Kerry’s Instagram page, that appears to have happened.
Alongside a cheery, make-up-less selfie, she wrote: “Good morning, you beautiful people!! Ready for the next chapter in my life with the help from my guardian angel, who I have just moved in with @ampikapickston1. Home from home.”
Ampika, 36, seemed equally excited by the news, replying: “Love you, women empowered together.”

And Kerry’s fans were quick to join in the congratulations. One enthused: “Glad everything is working out for you, Kerry, regardless of the Kittens scenario…. onwards and upwards xxxx.”
Another said: “That’s the way to go – move forward and stay positive. Hope you have a lovely day, Kerry xx.”
Kerry’s appearance on the reality show may come as a surprise to some, but others claim it was destiny.
A source told the Mirror: “Kerry’s private life is as dramatic as an episode of The Real Housewives of Cheshire, so she’ll fit right in.
“She used to live in the area, so there’s no reason why she couldn’t be part of the Cheshire set.
“The plan is a cameo, with Kerry being seen there cooking on Christmas Day – but who knows where it may lead.”
It’s about time Kerry had some good news – it’s been a turbulent year for the bubbly star.
Back in summer, it was reported that she’d split up with her third husband, George Kay, after three years of marriage.

Then there was that emotional Instagram video in which she sobbed about her then-15-year-old daughter Molly going to live in Ireland to study.
And earlier this week, the blonde star sparked concerns after telling fans that she was no longer part of the band that made her famous.
Kerry said on Instagram: “Gutted that I am no longer apart of Atomic Kitten!! Wish the girls all the love and happiness in the world!!”
But a source close to the group told The Sun that Kerry’s bandmates Liz McClarnon and Natasha Hamilton were left stunned by suggestions that they’d fired their old pal.
They explained: “Both Liz and Natasha have been left shocked and hurt by Kerry.
“The girls have had her back through thick and thin, covered for her when she’d pulled out of gigs and looked out for her through tough times.
“They had no idea about Kerry leaving the band until she posted it on her social yesterday. They feel used by her.”
