Six years ago, Sarah-Jane Honeywell’s life appeared to crumble around her after she appeared semi-naked in a newspaper.
Not only did she lose her job as a CBeebies presenter, she was also blanked by her friend Justin Fletcher, who plays Mr Tumble on the children’s channel.
But things are looking up for the 43-year-old blonde – she’s announced that she and her husband, actor Ayden Callaghan (who played Joe Roscoe in Hollyoaks), are expecting their second child.
And what a way to break it to the world! The 4ft 11in star posted a message to her Instagram followers, saying: “My lovely husband @AydenCallaghan and I have some exciting news… watch the video to find out more.”
A click on the link reveals a clip – edited in the style of a Hollywood movie trailer – that shows images of Sarah-Jane, Ayden and their two-year-old son, Phoenix, accompanied by dramatic music.
As the video reaches its climax, we’re told: “In February 2018… get ready for baby #2…”

We’re then shown images of a baby scan, before the clip finishes with the words: “Coming soon – ‘Little Bro’.”
And fans and friends alike seemed to love the announcement, with Sarah-Jane’s comments section being inundated with well-wishers.
One said: “Oh wow, congratulations to you both on this pregnancy and a lil brother or sister for your adorable lil boy. You both are absolutely amazing parents xx.”
Another added: “Awww, that’s amazing news. Congrats to you both. Exciting times ahead xxx.”
And a third clearly appreciated the innovative way the news was announced, enthusing: “Amazing video, so cool!! Another baby to add to the gang!!! xxx.”
Sarah-Jane was a regular on CBeebies show Tikkabilla when she made the decision to pose nearly nude as part of a campaign to promote a vegan lifestyle.
Wearing just her pants and covering her breasts with her hands, she lay on a giant plate alongside some plastic chips and peas.
The picture appeared in the Mirror, alongside the headline “CBoobies”.

After she lost her job, the Worksop-born star wrote on her blog HoneyMumster about the effect the incident had had on her friendship with Fletcher, 47.
“The day my picture went in the paper with the headline ‘CBoobies’, I never heard from my lovely friend again,” she lamented.
“I understand why, though. He had a very important, brilliant brand to protect.
“For the sake of children’s joy everywhere, I’m glad he chose them over me.”
Well, now it seems that Sarah-Jane is about to experience some more children’s joy for herself.
