The pair married at a stunning church in Elswick while surrounded by their close friends and family.
And it was definitely a star-studded affair.
Dec’s TV pals Holly Willoughby, Dermot O’Leary, Phillip Schofield, Fearne Cotton, Marvin and Rochelle Humes and Vernon Kay and Tess Daly were among the guests at the ceremony.
Of course the presenter’s best pal and presenting partner Ant McPartlin was his best man.
Speaking about the special day the groom described the wedding as an “amazing, magical and wonderful day”.
This is the first time Dec has been active on his Twitter, which he shares with Ant, since his best friend headed to rehab.
Ant, 41, checked himself into a rehabilitation centre to get help with a booze, drug and prescription medication addiction.
The BGT, Takeway and I’m a Celeb star released a statement, saying: “The first step is to admit to yourself you need help.
“I feel like I have let a lot of people down and for that I am truly sorry.”
He continued: “I want to thank my wife, family and closest friends for helping me through this really difficult time.
“I’ve spoken out because I think it’s important that people ask for help if they’re going through a rough time and get the proper treatment to help their recovery.”

It was reported that he turned to booze as he and wife Lisa, 40, struggled to conceive a baby.
Dec took to Twitter back in June to thank fans for their support.
He said: “Thank you for all the kind messages and well wishes for the big fella.
“He will be touched. Your support is, as ever, much appreciated.”

Ant has now been in rehab for a little over a month but hasn’t had any visitors during that time.
“Ant has had no visitors — not even Lisa or Dec,” a source told The Sun.
“It was judged best that he battled through this on his own.
“It has been very tough for him, but he really wants to get better and promised to do whatever that takes.
“There is still a way to go, but he is making real progress,” they added.
Meanwhile, Ant has been spotted enjoying days out from his rehab centre.
In pictures posted on The Sun Online, the presenter gave a thumbs up – indication that he’s doing well.
This is the first time the Geordie star has been seen since he admitted his issues.
The publication reports that he has enjoyed walks to the park and trips to the shops after a month of treatment.
Hopefully he is back on the mend!
