Coronation Street star Shayne Ward has appeared on This Morning and made a big revelation about girlfriend Sophie Austin’s new job.
But Phillip Schofield quickly stepped in and asked if Shayne was supposed to be making it public knowledge! Has he dropped Sophie right in it?!

He told Phil, and co-host Holly Willoughby: “I have to say, because I’m so excited about it, Sophie’s just started a new job on Call The Midwife.”
As Phil asked if that was already known, the actor stuttered over it and said he was sure it was fine to reveal.
Sophie had tweeted last week that she was on her “First day shooting”, but didn’t say what she was filming.

Looks like Shayne’s let the cat well and truly out of the bag!
The pair began dating in March last year, and announced they were expecting a baby together last August.
They welcomed baby Willow into the world in December, and Shayne has spoken often about what a besotted father he is, and shared a number of cute Instagram posts.
Sophie starred as Hollyoaks Gloved Hand Killer Lindsey Butterfield until she was killed off. She’s since been seen in ITV drama Tina and Bobby alongside Michelle Keegan.
Shayne was actually on This Morning to chat to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield about Eva’s massive revenge plot that’s coming up in Corrie.
“If I was Aidan I would run right now,” he laughed. “That is a woman scorned. In past storylines she’s been quite a bunny boiler. She’s going to ruin me.
“She finds out I’m having an affair and decides not to tell me, but to go out and take everything I have.
“She’s very, very conniving, it’s really good.”

Ouch, that’s going to hurt, given how hard Aidan has worked for the factory. But then again, he does deserve it, doesn’t he?!
Despite admitting he can no longer defend Aidan after Maria restarted their affair and he went along with it, Shayne insisted Aidan is not just a two-dimensional baddie.
“He’s not a complete bad lad, he has made a big mistake. He’s torn.”
