Awwww… Former X Factor winner Shayne Ward has bucked the celebrity trend and decided to show off his new baby on the telly and not via the pages of a celeb mag.
The gorgeous soap skinhead revealed his baby daughter to the world for the very first time on Saturday’s episode of The Xtra Factor.
Cooing viewers’ hearts burst with love when they saw the muscular hunk hold his tiny new arrival in his manly arms via a live link.
Shayne, who was the winner of the second series of X Factor, was appearing on the spin off show via Skype to give finalists Matt Terry and Saara Aalto a bit of advice.
But all the attention on the little bundle of joy that he was holding in his delicious arms.
“This is my little girl, this is Willow May,” he announced proudly, adding,“I’ve just come back from a dinner and now I’m on daddy duty. But she’s very content, so I’m very happy.”
Shayne and actress girlfriend Sophie Austin welcomed Willow to the world just last week, announcing the news, as celebs do these days, via Twitter.
In the message, Shayne gushed:
“Proud to share our incredible news.
‘Me and Sophie had a beautiful baby girl.
‘We are completely besotted and in love with the deepest of hearts.
“Our world Willow May Ward!”
Shayne Ward won The X Factor back in 2005 and released two successful albums. Last year he joined the cast of Coronation Street and scooped best newcomer award at this year’s NTAs.
