Sheridan Smith has shared a throwback snap with her Instagram followers showing how she’s shed two stone in recent months.
It is believed the Gavin and Stacey star has lost weight thanks to performing in the hit musical Joseph on the West End stage.
Sheridan, 38, played the narrator alongside Jason Donovan’s Pharoah in the show, with the high-energy song and dance routines leading to her slimming down.

Sharing before and after pictures of herself from the show’s ten week run, which ended this weekend, she wrote: “I’m not one for weight loss regimes as I think everyone should be comfortable in their own skin but comparing today’s pic to day 1 of rehearsals on @josephmusical l have lost 2 stone!”
Many of her famous friends congratulated her on her weight loss.
Donna Air posted a heart emoji, while Graham Norton sent three applause symbols.
More than a thousand others commented on the pictures to say how good she looks – regardless of her size.
“You look great in both pictures,” one said.
“You look so happy in both pictures which is what counts,” agreed another.
“Crikey … that’s amazing. You look stunning. But, you know what, you look fabulous in both these pics!!” wrote a third.

Others said they weren’t surprised to learn the actress has lost weight after seeing how much effort she put into her performance on the stage.
“You were dancing and running around so much I’m not surprised!” wrote one.
“I’m not bloody surprised seeing you on that stage!! I was exhausted just WATCHING you!!” said another.
Sheridan posted the day before to say she has loved being part of the cast of Joseph as it’s London stint comes to an end.
“1 show left with this amazing company, I’m gonna really miss @josephmusical thank you @thelondonpalladium for a great summer and to everyone who came to watch. Loved being part of such an incredible show!” she said alongside pictures of herself performing.
Now she won’t be on the stage every night, Sheridan might turn to wedding planning. The actress is engaged to former City worker Jamie Horn.
She recently posted a picture of the pair wearing Mr and Mrs army jackets and joked they may wear them on their big day.
“Thank you @birdandwolfuk for our MR & MRS jackets that you so kindly sent us. We love them, might even wear them at the wedding xx,” she said.
Hopefully the star hasn’t finalised her wedding dress yet, as if she’s bought one before her weight loss, she’s now going to have to take it in!
