Sitting on Strictly Come Dancing’s judging panel, we don’t often get to see any signature Shirley Ballas moves – and it turns out her dancing style is a bit weirder than we remember…
Fans were in hysterics when the professional dancer shared a video of herself in the shower on Saturday night, wearing a big leopard print coat and dancing to a chicken cha cha cha song.
The 58-year-old captioned the clip: “Welcome to Saturday in my dressing room. Funday @bbcstrictly could not resist.
“Dance with me chicken lol enjoy the cha cha cha chicken dance @alexandriastylist @janeburstow. #chicken #party #dance #fun #familyfun #dressingroom @bbcstrictly #chachacha #music”.
Her 82.7k followers couldn’t stop laughing, with one writing: “You are hilarious! Don’t change xx”.
A second said: “Hahahaha chicken nutter x”.
A third wrote: “I love these videos! I’m off for a dance in my shower now 😛 x”.
Some simply wrote: “Hilarious”, and “you’re so funny”, and one said: “laughed so much wiping away tears!”
Others were genuinely impressed, commenting: “In the words of Craig ‘Fab u lous! ‘ Love it and love your coat too xx”.
Another added: “You are the reason why I watch Strictly. A beautiful lady with so much knowledge x”.

The former dance champion later shared a stunning shot of herself in full gown after Saturday’s show.

In the caption, Shirley wrote: “Felt so beautiful in my dress this evening, what a great show @bbcstrictly thank you to my glam team @janeburstow @alexandriastylist.”
She also added the hashtags: “#dance #strictlycomedancing #fashion #eveningwear #fun #family #blessed”.
The judge had a big night on Strictly, where it seems to be fast becoming a tradition that her co-star, Bruno Tonioli grabs her during his comments.
On Saturday, he did so during his feedback to Kate Silverton and dance partner Aljaz Skorjanec, shouting that they should imagine their dance is like, “a game of cat and mouse.”
Shirley shrieked as Bruno said sorry. Presenter Tess Daly asked if she was OK, and Shirley replied: “I’m fine… very composed!”
Shirley’s dancing Instagram videos are becoming something of a regular feature, after the TV star posted another one just this week.
Looking incredible in a PVC catsuit for Halloween, Shirley shared a clip of herself dancing round the living room to Waiting For You.
