We still have around six weeks to go before we finally wave goodbye to Len Goodman on Strictly, but that hasn’t stopped folk from speculating who will be taking over from him on the judging panel.
As we’ve already told you, Arlene Phillips has said she’d be well up for returning to the show, while Anton du Beke and former Strictly dancer Karen Hardy are also in the frame to be filling his esteemed seat.
Now the latest contender in the mix is Kristina Rhianoff, who quit the show last year before joining Celebrity Big Brother back in January.
“If they asked me, then yes, I’d take it, ” she excitedly told Heat magazine. “I think I would be firm, but definitely a fair judge – especially to the professionals as I’ve been on the other side of it.”
She added: “When you stand there facing the judges and they’re ripping you apart, you want to tell them that they don’t understand how many hours of hard work has gone into the performance.”
Kristina, who is taking part in a dance show with Gleb Savchenko at the Adelphi Theatre in London on December 11, also thinks she would be a more understanding judge than Craig or Bruno.
“At times the judges can be quite harsh,” she explained. “They haven’t had to work with the celebrity and get them ready for that Saturday night show. So I’d be a fair judge.”
Meanwhile, there’s a rumour that producers are thinking about adding a FIFTH judge to the panel to avoid any deadlocks in the dance offs.
