The impending royal wedding has got Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford reminiscing about their wedding eight years ago.
During Friday’s This Morning, the show was royal wedding central, so Eamonn and Ruth spilled some details about their own big day.
But Ruth may have revealed a bit too much, when she shared a hilarious moment from the couple’s wedding party with viewers.

Eamonn was asking viewers to get in touch with This Morning to share tales about their own wedding days.
“Have you got a tale to tell about our wedding?” Ruth asked her hubby.
“I remember Eamonn chasing me around trying to get me home because I was busy dancing,” she continued.
“That’s private, stop that!” Eamonn interrupted.
But Ruth found it hilarious and continued: “All my friends were like, ‘quick, quick, he’s coming!’ and they all kept cutting you off so I could stay a bit longer at the party.”
“You should have been itching to get off [the dance floor] and to the martial quarters!” Eamonn quipped.
Meanwhile on the show, Eamonn gushed about how amazing Ruth looked on their big day.
Ruth recalled: “It was the hottest day of the year, wasn’t it?”
“It wasn’t the only thing that was hot,” Eamonn replied, smirking. “You were the hottest thing I’d seen.
“You were hot. I tell you, it was like J-Lo coming down that aisle. It was all wiggle – wiggle wiggle.”
This comes just a day after Eamonn was left unimpressed when Ruth couldn’t remember the date she and Eamonn tied the knot.
Ruth made her confession during the show’s fashion segment, which saw stylist Trinny Woodall share her advice on what to wear (and not wear!) to a wedding.
Speaking about his wedding to Ruth, Eamonn said: “We got married in June and it was the hottest day of the year.”
He then asked his wife: “And the date was?”
Ruth replied: “The 30th of June.”
But Eamonn said: “No it wasn’t.”
“It was!” Ruth insisted, as Eamonn pointed out: “It was the 26th of June.”
Realising she had actually got it wrong, Ruth said: “It was the 26th of June,” as she burst into laughter.
“I’m so bad,” Ruth added, putting her cue card over her face.
“There it is, live on national television,” Eamonn said. “Ruth Langsford not knowing when she was married.”
