We’re all looking forward to finding out who killed Emma Barton when the murderer is revealed in Friday’s episode of Emmerdale.
But now fans have come up with a shock theory about who the killer could be – little Arthur Thomas!
In last night’s episode Arthur was pretty outspoken about what he thought of Emma when she was alive.

“She was evil,” he announced in the shop. “She upset Dad and she attacked Gabby.”
Can’t argue with that!
And then he announced that Laurel hated Emma – much to Laurel’s discomfort (hmm, sign of guilt, Laurel?).
And as Arthur made his feelings known, viewers thought they’d spotted a clue about the identity of Emma’s murderer.

“Arthur killing #EmmaBarton is a big possibility after last night,” said one fan.
“Plot twist: Arthur killed Emma,” said another.
“It’s always that person you least expect,” a third fan pointed out.
Emmerdale has said the killer is one of a list of seven suspects – Moira, Ross, Pete, Adam, Laurel, Gabby, and Cain. But could Arthur be a late addition to the line-up?
Thankfully we won’t have long to wait, because the killer will be revealed in a special flashback episode on Friday.
