Simon Cowell has shrugged off Sharon Osbourne’s foul-mouthed rant in which she called him a ‘fat-faced pain in the [expletive]’, insisting: “Words don’t hurt me.”
Sharon’s X factor job was reported to be on the line after she let rip on US radio earlier this month.
But it seems TV boss Simon hasn’t taken her comments about leaving him to drown on a sinking ship to heart, suggesting the 65-year-old talent judge may have got carried away with herself.
Simon, 58, hinted to The Sun he was not taken aback by Sharon’s behaviour.

“You know what… how many times have I heard that? Sometimes people get overexcited and they say things they may regret.
“But how many years have I worked with her? A long time!”
Asked if he would work with her in the future, Simon replied: “One hundred per cent. Words don’t hurt me.”
During the interview with radio host Howard Stern on Sirius XM, Sharon said Simon would “do anything to get that [expletive] fat face on TV”.

She also took aim at X Factor wannabes, calling them “little [expletive]” who sing “karaoke”.
Newspaper reports claimed Sharon’s position on the show would be “untenable” following the tirade, but apparently Simon is a very forgiving man.
“I like Simon, he’s been very good to me but he’s a [expletive] pain in the [expletive],” she had told Stern.
And asked which X Factor judge she would save on a sinking boat, Sharon quipped: “We would put a [expletive] brick around [Simon’s] neck and throw him over.
“I will drown you [expletive]. Absolutely… he’s gone.”
Sharon is due to be an “impartial judge” for the X Factor live shows in the current series, rather than mentoring a category like Simon, Robbie Williams, Ayda Field and Louis Tomlinson.
