Simon Cowell has delivered a reassuring message to his fans, after disturbing news broke about an unfortunate accident that befell the media mogul.
Earlier this afternoon, we revealed that he had been rushed to hospital after an accident at his London home early this morning.
The media mogul was taken out of his home on a stretcher at approximately 8am, wearing a neck brace.
He was held under observation in hospital, according to a report in The Sun.
A source told the tabloid: “It’s been a scary morning. It was very early and Simon was going down his stairs to get some hot milk because he couldn’t sleep.
“He fainted and is thought to have fallen down the stairs.
“An ambulance was called and he was stretchered out of the house in a neck brace surrounded by worried aides.”
But the dad-of-one has now been snapped heading home with his entourage and, while looking tired – and perhaps a little sheepish – he gave an encouraging thumbs up to waiting photographers.
It is still as yet unclear if he will be well enough to appear in tomorrow night’s X Factor.
The live shows are set to kick off Saturday night.
His fans were quick to hit up Twitter to deliver their well-wishes…
