Guests round at Simon Cowell’s pad this festive season might find themselves raiding their selection boxes to ward off the hunger as they await their Christmas dinner.
Not for him the traditional turkey and trimmings to coincide with the Queen’s speech at 3pm – in fact, his yuletide banquet could be considered more of a Christmas supper.

Why? Well according to the pop mogul’s brother, Tony, Simon gets up so late that everything is pushed back throughout the day, with dinner being served at 9.30pm.
And there isn’t actually any turkey, either.
Tony was spilling the beans to the Mirror about the X Factor supremo’s extremely rigid festive schedule.
Simon and partner Lauren Silverman and their three-year-old son Eric (along with Yorkshire Terriers, Squiddly and Diddly) spend crimbo in Barbados on a month long break, something that has become a tradition in the Cowell household over the years.
And although it is undoubtedly a luxurious and no expenses spared festive vacation, Tony warned that if you want to be part of it, you need to follow the rules.
“If you spend Christmas with him, be prepared to fit into his schedule,” he said, before going on to explain Simon’s gruelling day…
“Long before Eric came along, Simon’s Barbados Christmas Day would read: Get up at 2pm, breakfast of spinach smoothie, toast and honey, and tea. 3pm, jet-ski for hour. 4pm, sunbathe then nap. 9.30pm, Christmas dinner (roast chicken, not turkey),” he said, adding: “Simon is a creature of habit.”
“Even Mum used to shout at him to get out of bed on Christmas Day.”
Good-natured Tony didn’t bear Simon any malice over his rather odd festive time keeping though, telling the paper:
“I don’t blame him: Simon’s schedule is close to crazy.”

We can’t help but wonder how on board Eric is with his daddy’s schedule though.
There’s not many three-year-olds who would let one of their parents sleep in at all on Christmas day.
