Simon Thomas has shared a heartwarming Christmas gift created for his son, Ethan, which has been made from his late wife Gemma’s dressing gown.
The Sky Sports presenter revealed the thoughtful present for the nine-year-old to his Instagram followers.
He wrote: “Just love this so much. A Christmas present for the boy made out of Gemma’s dressing gown.
“Thank you so much to the kind, talented and amazing Tarah Finlay ( @3tothread ) for making something that he’ll treasure and find comfort from forever.”
Gemma tragically passed away last year at the age of 40, three days after she was told she had leukaemia.
It was recently the year anniversary of her passing.
Fans rushed to tell Simon, 45, how special and thoughtful the present is.
One of his followers commented on the picture of the bear: “This is just beautiful. Wishing you both a peaceful Christmas.”
A second wrote: “Arh that’s amazing… Ethan will treasure that forever.”
A third added: “This is just perfect.”
This week, Simon revealed he has become the president of Bloodwise, a blood cancer charity, and he has also set up the Gemma Thomas fund.

He has said he now wants to help those battling the same disease as his late wife.

It comes as he spoke about his new relationship on Loose Women this week.
He explained: “You have to try and find some kind of life again. I think you’ve got two choices, you either give up on life and remain in a cage and if some people want to do that, that’s totally fine. It’s not for people to judge.”
He added: “I just want to be happy again and I know Gemma would want me to be happy. I didn’t expect to be in a relationship this early, I really didn’t, but when it comes you think, ‘Well, why can’t I be?'”
