Posting a snap of herself holding a scan photo while fiancé Kirk Newmann cradled her baby bump, Hayley told her followers: “I’d hoped having a baby was going to happen one day but wasn’t sure it ever would. Baby McQueen-Newmann has been cooking away for a few months now & pleases to report so far so good. We feel so incredibly blessed.”
Speaking openly about her experiences with endometriosis, Hayley said: “I’ve spent a couple of years getting fertility help, sorting out horrific endometriosis once and for all & getting rid of pesky cysts.”
She said she was preparing to head overseas for IVF treatment when she found out she was pregnant – and had even been speaking to an embryologist the day she found out.
Hayley’s one of a number of famous women who’ve endured endometriosis, with others including Corrie actresses Sacha Parkinson and Kate Ford and Spice Girl Emma Bunton.
Hayley’s followers rushed to offer their congratulations and share their own stories in the comments.
One wrote: “Thank you for sharing your struggles with fertility and endo. It’s given me hope…”
A second replied: “Huge congrats to you both. My wife and I had 4 failed IVF attempts then when we were looking to go down the donor route abroad we conceived naturally, which confounded the doctors who only gave us a 5% chance!! We now have a beautiful 6yr old girl, our little miracle!! Best of luck to you all.”
Another commented: “This is exactly a mirrored story of my son and his wife. They’ve been together 15 years [and were] about to go down the IVF route. But my wife treated them to a holiday as part of my wife’s 60th birthday celebration. Six weeks later she’s pregnant. All natural. Congratulations @kirknewmann and your beautiful fiancée.”
In the caption, Hayley revealed that the last few months have been “anxious” but she and Kirk are now excited for the “new chapter” in their lives.
She continued: “To all those who are struggling to conceive or read the dreaded statistics of pregnancy later in life please don’t let stats get you down. I hope me and my 1 working ovary, declining follicles and hormones can be of some hope for others who are struggling.”

Hayley went on to attribute the “little miracle” of her pregnancy to the fact she was so relaxed over the IVF, as well as her husband’s “extensive research on diet and fitness”.
