Former Emmerdale actress Adele Silva has opened up about having breast implant surgery.
Appearing on ITV’s Lorraine, Adele, who played Kelly Windsor in the Yorkshire based soap, told Lorraine Kelly that she regrets having her implants.
Adele revealed that she is getting them replaced 13 years after her first surgery.
She had the implants when she was aged 22 and has warned others against making a similar decision at that age.
She said: “The initial reason was I had breast asymmetry, one slightly bigger than the other, so that was rectified but then [I had] an implant as well.
“I think in the early 2000s, it was a very obvious look, so I went from a small B to a D, so it was quite obvious with then quite round implants.
“It was more a kind of confidence thing in myself,”

Adele continued: “And I think at that age you’re quite naive in thinking.
“You don’t think about how it is going to take a toll on your body when you have children and things like that.”
She revealed she will be having another surgery and will replace her implants.
She said: “They went from a D and during pregnancy they went up to a G, after breast feeding and shrinking back down.
“They’ve just kind of lost their, you know, I just feel like now I’d like a smaller implant which I think is the weight of the implant I had initially.
“Gravity has taken it’s toll and pulled them downwards.”

The actress gave birth to her first child, a daughter, in March this year.
Asked if she would ever allow her daughter, Sienna, to have implants, she said she would say “hold off at 22″.
She added: “I don’t think your body is developed, I hadn’t thought about what it would be like after children, after breast feeding.
“Things like that so I think I’d be more realistic with her and say let’s hang fire, and let’s kind of wait and see.”
