We have to admit that we’ve loved seeing Chas Dingle back together with Paddy Kirk over the last few weeks, and we’ve loved them keeping their reignited romance a secret.
There have been some brilliant scenes in the Woolie where they’ve stolen lustful looks at each other while the rest of the village remain oblivious.

But all good things must come to an end as they say – and next week it starts to look like their relationship is going to face some unexpected pressure from Paddy’s ex-wife, Rhona Goskirk.
As we’ve seen recently, Paddy and Rhona have been working together to get some extra school help for little Leo.
Next week, Paddy sacrifices an afternoon of passion with Chas to help his ex and stepson.
But what Paddy isn’t expecting is Rhona’s feelings for him are growing.
Rhona has stayed away from romance since her husband, Pierce Harris, was jailed for raping her earlier this year.
Paddy was there for her throughout the entire ordeal of the court case and is one of the few people Rhona genuinely trusts, even if they sometimes do end up locking horns.
Rhona even tried to kiss Paddy not long after Pierce was sentenced, but Paddy thought it was too soon for her to be making any big decisions.
He was probably right. As well as the rape, Rhona spent some time in rehab earlier this year after lapsing into her addiction to prescription drugs again.
We hoped they would get back together, but when Chas returned from Ireland, confessing that she wanted to give their relationship a proper go, we ended up veering a bit towards #TeamChaddy.
Chas and Paddy decide it’s time to go public with their relationship next week, but how will the news affect Rhona?
Will she be sent crashing back downwards – or will she take on Chas and fight for her man?
Emmerdale boss, Iain McLeod, spoke about the upcoming Chas/Paddy/Rhona love triangle to TV Times, saying: “At the point where Chas returns, it seems that Rhona is not an option.
“So the story then becomes, ‘How do you pursue a new relationship when the woman you thought you’d spend the rest of your life with lives up the road and runs a business with you?’

“You’ll just have to wait and see how this love story involving these three characters pans out.”
But we want happy endings for all them.
