Yes, we miss his lustrous locks, but they can grow back, right? And yes, sometimes he spends his days looking at work injury compensation claims…
But Adam Barlow is definitely one of Weatherfield’s most eligible bachelors.
(Let’s just gloss over his history of blackmail and other dodgy dealings!)
So it’s no surprise that he doesn’t have much trouble moving on from his very brief encounter with married woman Angie Appleton.
This week, Adam and Angie gave in to their electric chemistry when they locked lips and enjoyed a short but sweet clinch.

But he’s not just feeling frisky to forget about Angie. In fact, Adam is desperately trying to put Aidan Connor’s tragic death to the back of his mind.
And if that’s drowning his sorrows in a bottle of whisky and kissing a beautiful woman, then so be it.
He needs a distraction as he struggles to come to terms with the tragic news that Aidan has taken his own life.
Corrie fans know that the pair did not see eye to eye and had a history of altercations.
While getting drunk at the Bistro, he chats up a woman called Niamh and takes her back to the flat hoping for some no-strings-attached fun.

Sadly for Adam, though, he’s stopped in his tracks when Daniel suddenly turns up with Vinny Ashford’s mum Flora in tow.
What a passion killer!
Even worse, Daniel then drops the bombshell that Flora will be staying with them until the council can find her a better care home.
Not quite the flatmate Adam would have chosen himself…
