Love Island’s Adam Collard has dropped a bombshell: he’d have coupled up with Zara McDermott over Rosie Williams on day one.
Adam is currently coupled with Rosie but has admitted fancying newcomer Zara, who arrived in the villa on Sunday night.
On Monday night’s episode, he’s quizzed by the boys on whether he’d have chosen Zara or Rosie if they both arrived on the same day.
And unfortunately for Rosie, he picks Zara…
Rosie, meanwhile, knows something is amiss and tells Adam she feels a “bit shakey” about Zara’s arrival.

Adam reassures Rosie that he’s “invested a lot” into his relationship with her and has barely said two words to Zara, assuring Rosie: “I wouldn’t worry at all.”
However, he adds privately in the Beach Hut: “Rosie knows my type quite clearly – brown hair, good looking. Rosie fits that mould. So does Zara.”
Rosie can’t shake her doubts, however, and tells the girls she’s just confused about the whole situation, particularly because it was only last night she and Adam got intimate in bed for the first time.
“I’m so confused. How can they be so lovey dovey and say one thing one minute and as soon as two fresh faces come in, not necessarily better than any of us in here, they are like changed,” she asks.
“I’m just sick of boys always looking for more.”
Zara, meanwhile, doesn’t seem too worried about Adam being coupled up with Rosie, saying that won’t affect her pursuit of him.
She thinks Rosie is being “too intense” which will probably put Adam off, adding: “I like Adam but Rosie is very territorial. She clearly likes him. I don’t think I’ll give up easily with this one.
“I think I’ve got this one in my sights and I’m definitely locking in on my target.”
Zara, however, admits she is a tad worried that if she coupled with Adam he’d ditch her later for someone else. After all, he ditched his first partner Kendall Rae-Knight when Rosie arrived…
“He is so fit, why is he so fit?” asks Zara. “I know if I go for him and it does work out and we end up coupled up then he could just do the same to me that he’s done to every single girl.
“It’s a gamble but I think I am in here to take risks.”

Zara and Adam get the chance to know each other a bit better when Zara and fellow newcomer Ellie Brown are told to choose three men to go on dates with.
Each man has to make one course of their meal: starter, main or dessert. Zara chooses Alex George for the starter, Eyal Booker for main, and Adam for dessert.
That pleases Adam who says in the Beach Hut: “I would be open to getting to know Zara… Zara is very attractive. If I didn’t give Zara a chance, I could miss out on potentially something that’s even better and I don’t think that’s really fair on me or Zara if I just completely shut the door in her face.”
