There’s a storm a-brewing in Emmerdale next week when Amelia Spencer accidentally discovers that Dan isn’t actually her real dad. Yikes.
Dan recently discovered that his brother Daz was Amelia’s biological father after he had a one night stand with Dan’s ex-wife Ali.

It led to an almighty bust-up between the brothers and Dan kicked Daz out. Since then Amelia has been missing her uncle/dad and asks Dan if Daz can come over.
The schoolgirl is taken aback when Dan tells her that he can’t come over. This prompts Dan’s partner Kerry into urging Dan to act normal around Daz in case Amelia gets suspicious.
As it turns out they really don’t have to worry about Amelia getting suspicious as she soon learns the truth for herself after accidentally recording Kerry and Dan talking.
Amelia is recording her vlog when she gets interrupted by Dan and Kerry and she leaves them to it, accidentally leaving the computer running.
The couple are stunned later when they come back in and find Amelia watching a video of Dan admitting he isn’t her real dad. What a way to find something like that out!
Amelia will be left reeling after her shocking discovery, which is hardly surprising as she only found out her mum had died a few weeks ago.

Daz was the one who broke the news to the school girl that mum Ali had been killed in a car crash – much to Dan’s anger as he felt he should have told his daughter.
A drunken Daz then let slip to Kerry that he thought he could be Amelia’s real dad after having a fling with Ali about nine months before the little girl was born.
A DNA test then revealed that Dan wasn’t Amelia’s biological dad but what will it mean for the Spencer clan now she knows the truth?
