A drunk Toyah is sobbing to sister Leanne that her lies over Susie have cost her Peter, her much-longed for baby and she’s soon going to lose her home too as the pub is sold.

But as Toyah looks into Susie’s crib she realises the baby isn’t there. So where is she?

When Eva wakes and discovers her baby is missing, she is thrown into a blind panic and immediately suspects Toyah has taken her.

Toyah obviously doesn’t have her though and a distraught Eva then thinks that Johnny has somehow got into the pub and stolen his granddaughter.

Has Eva got the right culprit this time? She has and while she panics and calls in the police Johnny is sat in a hotel room cradling Susie.

The police promise Eva they will do everything in their power to get her baby back and take down Susie’s details.

Meanwhile Liz realises Johnny stole her keys to The Rovers and tells Kate and Jenny who are horrified to discover that Johnny hasn’t been taking his MS meds.

Back in the hotel room, Johnny is weak and struggles to feed Susie.

A devastated Eva makes a TV appeal which Johnny sees, making him decide to call Liz.

Liz then arrives at the hotel and Johnny breaks down in tears, telling her that he can’t bear the thought of losing Susie so soon after losing Aidan.

Liz urges Johnny to give himself up and let Susie return to Eva but he refuses to listen and tells her he plans on fleeing to Spain with Susie.

He then tells Liz that he wants her to go with them. Will Liz agree? Or will she manage to convince Johnny to give Eva back her baby?

Johnny has been besotted with the baby girl since discovering she is the daughter of his son Aidan who tragically died by suicide in May.

He’s already promised Eva that he will try to get custody of Susie and has been trying to prove that she is an unfit mum after discovering that she planned on handing her daughter over to Toyah.

Johnny also called social services when Liz told him that Susie had been rushed into the medical centre after suffering a fall at the pub and bumping her head.
