Coronation Street’s Bethany Platt is set for yet more heartbreak in upcoming episodes – and it’s the last thing the poor teenager needs!
Last year, Bethany was at the centre of a harrowing child grooming and sexual exploitation storyline.
The dark plot – which was criticised by some – saw the young girl manipulated and assaulted by hateful groomer Nathan Curtis and his vile criminal gang.

After enduring months of abuse at the hands of her twisted boyfriend Nathan and his sick friends, Bethany finally managed to escape their clutches.
When the ordeal ended, Bethany’s one constant was her best friend and on-off love interest Craig Tinker.
The good friends have decided to stay as friends after a brief attempt at a romantic relationship, but Bethany has now begun to question whether she wants more…
So her world is rocked to the core when newcomer Kayla sets her sights on Craig.

At the start of next week, Bethany surprises her mum Sarah with the news that she’s thinking about being more than friends with Craig .
But, with Kayla on the scene, is it too little, too late?
When Bethany and Craig have lunch at Speed Dahl, Craig finds himself drawn to the kooky new waitress.
And when Kayla hands Craig her phone number, Bethany attempts to hide her disappointment.
