Both Bob and Laurel are plagued by guilt after their one-night stand and their ongoing deceit of Brenda.
She has driven herself half mad trying to work out who her husband did the dirty on her with.
To say she’d be heartbroken to discover it’s her friend, who she has been supporting since Ashley’s death, is one hell of an understatement.
But now it seems she may have a lot more to get upset about soon, as Bob decides the grass IS greener.

The cafe owner can’t get his night with Laurel out of his head and next week admits to himself – and her – that he has feelings for her.
And guess what? The grieving widow has developed strong feelings for him too. Damn that oxytocin!
Their declarations come as Laurel confides in Harriet that she and Bob had a fling and she has formed an inappropriate emotional attachment.

Harriet wags her finger at Bob, who is initially appalled that his dirty secret is out – albeit to the local one-time vicar, who is pretty good at keeping secrets (killer Moira, anyone?).
But it forces him to confront his own feelings and Brenda is worried sick about what he’s up to now when he suddenly vanishes.
Bob turns up at Laurel’s and drops an almighty bombshell – he wants to be with her, not Brenda. Yikes on a push bike!
