Corrie’s Eva Price will be leaving the cobbles in the summer and her exit will be “very emotional” it has been revealed.
Actress Catherine Tyldesley, 34, has told fans that the catalyst for her departure will be when the truth about Eva’s baby finally comes out.

In upcoming scenes, Peter Barlow will discover that newborn Susie is in fact Eva’s baby.
Upset and furious, he’ll learn how Toyah duped him into thinking the baby was from their surrogate mother.
In reality, the surrogate tragically lost the baby.

Spoilers suggest that the truth will tear Toyah and Peter apart, leaving their marriage in tatters.
Meanwhile, life gets very complicated for Eva when the Connor family discover that Aidan has a baby daughter.
Revealing that she only has three weeks of filming left, actress Catherine spoke to Metro.co.uk on the red carpet of the Soap Awards.
She said: “It’s starting to hit home that I’m leaving. I’ve got three weeks left on set and, being here tonight, I realise this is my last soap awards – certainly for a while. So it’s emotional for me.”
Asked about the future of her character, Catherine added: “The truth has yet to come out about the baby. It does play a part in the exit. It’s a very emotional exit.
“It does all come down to the baby and Toyah. But I don’t want to tell you too much because I don’t want to spoil it.”
However, the actress revealed she is “really happy” with the storyline and that the door has been left open for her.
“I’m so pleased,” she admitted. “I know when people leave they often say they’ll come back and then they don’t, but I am a huge Corrie fan and I would love to see Eva wreak some more havoc further down the line. We’ll see what happens.”
Eva discovered she was expecting Aidan’s baby after the pair had split up.
She had considered terminating the pregnancy, until Toyah suggested she adopt it.
Since then, however, the pair have struggled to keep the truth a secret.
And matters were given a heartbreaking twist when Aidan took his own life.
