Love Island’s Charlie Brake has taken the plunge and asked Ellie Brown to be his girlfriend.
The 23-year-old socialite from London has been coupled up with Ellie, 20, since he arrived at the villa as a newcomer and even though they’ve only known each other a couple of weeks, he’s ready to make it official!
In scenes to air on Friday night, he enlists the boys’ help in popping the big question.
Charlie’s not content with just asking Ellie to be his girlfriend during a chat, instead he wants to make a grand gesture involving, er, his bare chest!

He tells the boys: “I have gathered you here because, I want to make Ellie my girlfriend tonight. That’s what I want to do so obviously I need the boys here to help me out.
“I have an idea… I want to write on my chest, ‘Ellie will you be my girlfriend?'”
The guys come up with an elaborate plan for Wes Nelson to distract Ellie while Jack Fincham helps Charlie write the message across his chest.
Jack’s then told to ‘accidentally’ spill a drink on Charlie so he can take his shirt off in front of Ellie and show her the message.
An excited Charlie says: “Hopefully she’ll say yes! I’ve come in here and I’ve found what I’m looking for basically so, now is the right time to ask her to be my girlfriend.”
We’ll find out tonight what Ellie says!
Charlie’s decision to ask Ellie to be his girlfriend means – if she says yes! – there are now four official couples in the villa.
Dani Dyer and Jack were the first to go official, followed by Josh Denzel and Kazimir Crossley and Wes and Megan Barton Hanson.
So far, only Dani and Jack have exchanged the L-word, although Megan did let it slip while in bed with Wes the other night before hastily backtracking the next morning.
That being said, things have never been better between her and Wes and she tells him tonight: “I didn’t actually think I’d feel this way about someone.”
Elsewhere, Josh can’t believe his luck at finding Kaz, gushing tonight: “I am loving every single day with Kaz. I am so comfortable when I’m with her. She is so beautiful. She is the best thing since sliced bread. I really fancy her.”
Meanwhile, the villa’s first couple, Dani and Jack, are also happier than ever and spend the night reiterating how much they love each other.
Jack tells Dani: “I’ve said to people that I love them but I’ve never felt like how I feel in myself about you. I love you. I do. I am excited.
“I feel like I’ve changed and I feel like a big part of how I’ve changed has been meeting you. You’ve helped me and I feel like you are what I needed. I’m getting emotional. I feel like you were exactly what I needed to meet at this point in my life.”
Of course, this is Love Island, so there has to be a bit of drama thrown in.
That comes on Friday night in the form of the Twitter challenge, where the islanders are read out tweets from viewers with names blanked out, so they have to guess what the public think about each of them.

We’ll also be saying goodbye to two islanders in the recoupling.
The power is in newcomer Alexandra Cane’s hands as she has to choose whether to couple up with Alex George, Kieran Nicholls or Idris Virgo.
Whoever she doesn’t choose will go home.
Love Island airs 9pm on ITV2.
